No prior snowmobile experience is required! While snowbiking is easier to learn than snowmobiling, we recommend having some motorcycle or dirt bike experience. We provide a comprehensive orientation that covers all the basics, including throttle control, braking, body positioning, and safety procedures. Our staff will ensure you're comfortable before heading out on the trails.

Your rental includes the Yamaha 450 FX with Timbersled 120 kit, helmet, goggles, trail map, full tank of fuel, and comprehensive safety orientation. We also provide recommendations for the best trails based on your skill level and current conditions. We will provide snowmobile clothing, boots, helmet, and gloves.

Snowbikes are much lighter and more agile than snowmobiles, making them easier to maneuver in tight spaces and deep powder. They use motorcycle-style controls (twist throttle, foot brakes) rather than thumb throttles. Snowbikes excel in trees and steep terrain where snowmobiles can struggle. They're also more physically engaging - you use your body weight to steer and balance, similar to dirt biking.

Riders must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. We also require signing a liability waiver. While not required, we strongly recommend having motorcycle or dirt bike experience, as the controls and riding style are similar. If you're new to powersports, consider starting with a guided tour where our experienced staff can provide hands-on instruction.

In the event of damage, you would be responsible for repair costs up to the bike's value. We conduct a thorough inspection before and after each rental. Our staff will review all policies during your orientation.

The snowbike season in Idaho typically runs from December through April, with peak conditions from January to March. Deep powder days offer the most exciting riding, but groomed trails are fun year-round. We monitor snow conditions daily and can recommend the best trails for current conditions.
