Our equipment is very stable, but if you do tip, stay calm! Your life jacket will keep you afloat. Most kayaks and paddleboards can be flipped back over easily. We teach self-rescue techniques during your orientation. Stay near shore if you're a beginner.

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome on kayaks and canoes! Your pet should be comfortable around water and able to sit still. Please bring towels and be prepared for potential messes. Dog life jackets are available for rent for $10.

Absolutely! We provide a waterproof dry bag with each rental to keep your phone, keys, and small valuables safe and dry. For extra protection, consider a waterproof phone case. Many of our customers capture stunning wildlife and scenic photos!

Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting wet - swimsuits, athletic wear, or quick-dry clothing work best. Water shoes or sandals with straps are ideal. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Leave cotton clothing and flip-flops at home.

Yes! Children of all ages are welcome. Kids must wear life jackets at all times (provided in all sizes including infant). Tandem kayaks and canoes work great for families with small children who will ride as passengers.

No experience necessary! We provide basic instruction and safety orientation for all first-time paddlers. Our equipment is beginner-friendly and stable. Most people get the hang of it within 5-10 minutes.
